Scrum Master Certified (SMC®) professionals are facilitators who ensure that the Scrum Team is provided with an environment conducive to completing the project successfully. The Scrum Master guides, facilitates, and teaches Scrum practices to everyone involved in the project; clears impediments for the team; and, ensures that Scrum processes are being followed.
Successful candidates will be awarded the Scrum Master Certified (SMC®) certification by SCRUMstudy™ after passing the certification exam.

Who Takes the Course?
This course and certification are appropriate for anyone who is interested in becoming a Scrum Master.
Course Format
The Live-led Online course takes place over 2 days, typically 6-8 hours each day depending on the speed with which the class moves through the material. Students can access the materials entirely online, but we recommend taking the live class as well so as to get individual questions answered.
Prerequisites
There is no formal prerequisite for this course. However, it is preferable to complete the Scrum Developer Certified (SDC®) certification before applying for the Scrum Master certification.

Retaking the Exam
If needed, you can take the exam 2 additional times for free.
Recertification
Your certification is good for 3 years from the date you pass the exam. To extend it, take the SMC® Recertification exam every 3 years or earn any other SCRUMstudy™ Certification.
